Set in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, this wine country retreat is a beautiful venue for an intimate wedding. The inn is a historic farm on nearly 50 acres, with mountain views and proximity to all the lovely attractions of Loudoun County. This rural escape was the perfect spot for a summer wedding, the rolling hills and landscaping a vivid green, nicely complementing the comfortable, rustic vibe of the interior spaces.
Washington, D.C., like any great city, provides almost endless beautiful and magnificent wedding venues. However, D.C. offers something the others do not. There's a certain history, a certain elegance and a little bit of dramatic flair that can be found in the wedding venues of the nation's capitol. The streets themselves even beckon for a few timeless wedding photos (a call we gladly followed).
Set against a beautiful backdrop of Maryland mountains, Springfield Manor is a perfectly idyllic wedding setting regardless of the season. The estate, built in 1774, features a magnificent ballroom to accommodate even the largest weddings. Beyond, the private suites are immaculately adorned, for those not-to-be-missed pre-wedding photos with your bridal party. However, possibly the best part of this venue is the outdoors, where the 130 acres provide not only a pristine arbor to grace your ceremony space, but also romantic lavender fields and a lush vineyard.
A venue made complete with its own on-site bed and breakfast, Zion Springs is a charming spot for a rustic chic wedding. The beautiful barn, lush fields and slate patio give you a wide array of settings to work with, each different, but each complimentary in its own way. Regardless of the season, this picture-perfect location continues to delight couples of all styles and tastes.
This fantastic venue is in hot demand, and for good reason! It's set on 80 acres with views of the Potomac, and has a wide variety of spaces available, for whatever style and setting the bride and groom prefer. Capable of accommodating hundreds of family members and friends, everyone has space to spread out, among the lush greenery, water features and historic structures.
Equal parts rustic and elegant, the Glasgow Farm is a perfect setting for any country-chic event. The venue is still a working farm today, and the event space, the Family Home and the Old Barn, both built in 1900, reflect their historic origins. Full of charm, this fabulous wedding venue was a joy to photograph.
The Glasgow Farm is our favorite venue. I'm not quite sure what it is but you get a feeling like you are home when you're there. It has that warm feel to it and country laid back vibe. The beautiful farm house is such a unique, rustic, antique place to get ready. It has so many nooks and crannies which as photographers is music to our ears or cameras for that matter. The Glasgow's manage the farm, so don't be surprised if you and a chicken cross paths during cocktail hour. Everything is so very genuine about this place and we love that.
Glen Ellen Farm is a beautiful historic estate located in Ijamsville, MD (close to Frederick, MD). The farmhouse located on the estate is rustic yet elegant. There is a beautiful pond as a backdrop for the ceremony, an amazing trellace structure for cocktail hour and the farmhouse itself is picture perfect.
This beautiful wedding venue is located right on the water in Point Pleasant, New Jersey. The ceremony site has enchanting and stunning views overlooking the marina, also accompanied by a lovely white gazebo that is absolutely picturesque. The Crystal Ballroom was the perfect place for an elegant reception site. The large dance floor allows guests as well as the bride and groom to have a good time dancing the night away, while the large windows allow natural light to fill the room.
